Natalie Hoyt is an Assistant Dean of Undergraduate Students and the Director of First-Year Initiatives at Dartmouth College, where she leads campus-wide efforts to support students' transition into college life. In this role, Natalie oversees a team within the Undergraduate Deans Office dedicated to developing programs and services that promote academic success, engagement, and retention for first-year students. Natalie holds a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Florida International University and a Bachelor of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Mississippi University for Women. She has presented nationally and internationally on academic advising and student success and is a long-time contributor to initiatives that enhance equity and belonging on campus. Natalie grew up in Trinidad and Tobago and lived there until she went abroad for college. Natalie is a third-generation immigrant to Trinidad as her ancestors immigrated from Lebanon. She is proud of her Lebanese heritage and especially love the food and customs! Outside of work, Natalie loves to cook and host friends at her home. She enjoys the community that can be created over a meal and shared laughter. She also enjoys traveling with her partner, Mike, and they try and "get out of town" often!
