Michelle Kermond is the Associate Director of the Undergraduate Deans Office, where she leads a team of upper-level deans supporting Dartmouth's sophomore, junior, and senior students, along with the Academic Improvement Specialist. Since joining the Undergraduate Deans Office in 2017, she has enjoyed advising the Classes of 2020, 2023, and 2025. Prior to her current role, Michelle worked in the Office of Pluralism and Leadership and in Residential Education, experiences that deepened her commitment to fostering student growth and belonging. She holds a background in interpersonal communication, with research exploring mindfulness, appraisal, and attribution of responsibility in the comforting process. Originally from New Jersey, Michelle now calls Vermont home.
